After months of downtime, I finally got the home studio back online. Man, does that feel great. I went a long time without having my studio working, thanks to the move to the new Patcave and all the drama that has gone along with it.
The upside to this, besides me being able to play my guitar at all hours of the day and night, is that I will now start my new video blog for the LOOP website.
Man, I picked the perfect night to hang out with my friends and watch a little bit of the Winter Olympics.
Last night I had the pleasure of watching Shaun White just tear up the half pipe event. I have never seen anybody get so much air out of a half pipe. The guy really is amazing. I did feel bad for his team mate Scotty Lago who also had a flawless routine on the pipe, but only pulled the bronze. I think he should have scored the silver for that routine. It was also amazing.
Local Chicago boy, Shani Davis killed it in the 1000m and pulled the Gold. Way to go Shani!
Oh man, I'm am SOOo ready for a 4 day weekend.
FYI, I won't be back at the LOOP studios until Wednesday the 17th.
It was great having the guys from The Lovehammers stop by the studio and talk rock and roll.
Tickets to their Saturday night show are selling fast, and I DO recommend you pick them up if you get the chance.
It's nice to see local rockers doing so well, and I think its going to be a great show to a packed house.
My plans for the weekend are still a little sketchy.
I might swing by Great White tonight at the House of Blues.
