Black Sabbath

Black Sabbath was formed in Birmingham England back in 1969 by Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward. They are widely considered the fathers of Heavy Metal and have been adored by their fans for decades. Sure, the lineup has gone through some changes over the years - some better than others. But you can not deny the effect that this band has had on rock music.

Bill Ward Officially Out of Black Sabbath Reuinion

Black Sabbath

To no surprise, original drummer for Black Sabbath Bill Ward has officially confirmed that he will NOT be a part of the Black Sabbath reunion.

“I sincerely regret to inform you that after a final effort to participate in the upcoming shows, a failure to agree has continued. I won’t be playing at the Birmingham gig on May 19th, nor the Download festival. I will not be playing at Lollapalooza.” said Bill Ward.

Bill puts no blames or hard feelings towards his Black Sabbath band mates saying, “It can’t be easy for them either. This situation is just really sad.”
