Man, I have a good reason to head to New York.
Halloween night, Zakk Wylde, Ozzy's guitarist, Black Label Society founder, and all around cool heavy metal maniac, will perform a FREE concert at the Hard Rock Cafe New York in Times Square.

What could be cooler than Zakk and The Black Label Society boys playing a Halloween concert at the Hard Rock Cafe?

Here's The Deal:

The Reason - Gibson Guitar, Epiphone, and even Monster Cable, have joined together to celebrate the launch of 2 brand new signature model guitars and pro headphones. (Shown Above)

How To Win - Good news brother, you have a couple of different ways to win VIP tickets to this very cool Halloween event.

First:: There is going to be a heavily promoted radio contest throughout the month of October. I haven't heard anything about this for the Chicago radio market as of yet. If I do, I'll be sure to pass along the information ASAP. Fans in other markets are just going to have to listen to their favorite rock station for details.

Second:Fans of Zakk Wylde have been offered the opportunity to register for tickets to this event. Zakk has a video message at http://www.gibson.com and http://www.monstercable.com with more details. You can also head over to the Monster Cable website for more registration information. Registration did begin on October 6th and are on first come first served basis limited to two per person per household.

I have also heard rumors that Gibson will sponsored a best "Zakk Wylde" YouTube audtion on Gibson.com.

Winners of the radio promotions will receive a sweet Epiphone Zakk Wylde Graveyard Disciple guitar, a set of Monster's new Turbine Pro in-ear speakers, a set of awesome Dunlop pedals, tickets to the Zakk Wyle's Hellfire Halloween Bash, and meet and greet passes with Wylde as well as entry into the Hard Rock Times Square.

Anyone of my roadies, or anybody who has talked guitars with me for more than 5 minutes, knows that I am a HUGE player of Gibson guitars. My 3 main guitars are a Gibson Flying V (featured in the video on this website), Gibson X-Plorer, and my trusty 1979 Gibson Les Paul Custom.

The question is "How do I talk the radio station into letting my fly out to NY for this concert?".
